Workshops
Our collaborative approach to supporting the development and implementation of research insights and action plans.
Workshop Engagements
Environics Research uses workshops to help client teams get the most out of their research investments. These carefully designed sessions help our clients – and colleagues across their organizations, such as product designers and sales teams – understand and act on the research findings.
We see workshops as an integral part of the research process. Drawing on decades of experience facilitating workshops, we emphasize collaboration, drawing meaningful insights from data, and evidence-driven approaches throughout the entire research process.

Our Collaborative Approach
Our workshopping approach begins with the project foundation. We convene clients and the research team to discuss current business challenges, contextualize the issues at play in the research, take stock of existing knowledge, and ensure that we have a shared understanding of the research objectives. This harmonious exchange sets the tone for the rest of the research project.
As the process advances, workshops can take on different formats tailored to your specific needs and objectives. For instance, we may conduct a stakeholder socialization workshop to visualize target audiences, engaging with intersecting departments to grasp how research outcomes will impact their roles. On projects that involve persona development, we integrate workshops to connect on insights gleaned from research, delving deeply into personas and ideating strategic initiatives to target different segments. These exercises help participating teams visualize how to leverage research findings effectively, more than justifying the investment of time and attention.
Applying Our Expertise
Workshops can also help you harness Social Values insights. Clients seeking to understand particular age groups for goals such as product innovation or message testing, benefit from our extensive trove of Social Values data. Our longitudinal approach illuminates differences among generations, as well as a diversity of Social Values segments within each generational cohort. Together, these findings can powerfully enhance your market understanding – especially when workshops help you engage deeply and creatively with the data, identifying patterns, exploring decision drivers, and brainstorming engagement strategies based on segments’ distinct, motivations, fears, and expectations. Clients leave these sessions with a comprehensive grasp of a generation’s unique needs and the myriad distinctions within it.
At Environics Research, we firmly believe that delivering insights should not mark the end of a research project. Bespoke workshop sessions are one way in which we offer ongoing support, with experienced researchers and facilitators remaining connected to our clients and supporting the development and implementation of action plans. This commitment to flexibility, openness, and transparency ensures that insights are not only obtained but effectively translated into actionable strategies.
