2025 Toronto Blue Jays World Series Game Day Guide

Plan your ultimate fan experience in Toronto during the 2025 World Series. This curated travel guide for Baseball fans highlights where to watch the game, local eats, and insider tips tailored to every fan.

The Toronto Blue Jays are heading to the World Series, and whether you’ve been a lifelong fan or are just joining in on the excitement, Toronto is the place to be.

We know not all fans (or travellers) are the same. Some crave comfort and familiarity, while others chase energy and novelty and that’s why we’ve created this not-so-traditional game day guide, so you can plan your perfect day in Toronto based on what you value most when you travel.

Drawing from Environics Research’s Social Values-based Traveller Segmentation, we’ve mapped out four unique World Series fan itineraries. Each reflects a different traveller mindset. Find out which type of fan you are — from where to stay to how to celebrate (fingers crossed) after the final pitch — and make the most of your game day experience, your way.

Pre-game tailgates take place at Steam Whistle Brewing, Toronto’s largest independent craft brewery.

Travel Segment: Mainstream Traveller

About half of Canadians fall into this segment. You value comfort, safety, and reliability, and prefer experiences that feel easy and familiar. For you, a great game day is about being surrounded by people you love and keeping things simple.

Game Day Itinerary

  • Where to stay: Chelsea Hotel or Delta Toronto, both central and accessible.
  • Watch the game: Book a table at The Rec Room near Rogers Centre (aka SkyDome) or host a cozy viewing party with friends and family.
  • Pre-game bite: Poutine Hub (Vladdy’s go to), and don’t forget to stock up on the iconic ballpark snacks (peanuts, Cracker Jacks, sunflower seeds, gum, and hot dogs!)
  • Celebrate after: Join the crowd at Steam Whistle for celebratory drinks steps from the stadium.
  • Between games: Visit Little Canada or take a relaxing stroll along the Harbourfront.

Travel Segment: Experiential Enthusiasts

About 1 in 10 Canadians are in this segment. You’re drawn to high-energy, must-do experiences, crowd favourites, and love being where the action is. You might not be the biggest baseball fan, but you thrive in an atmosphere buzzing with collective pride and emotion.

Game Day Itinerary

  • Where to stay: Stay in the heart of it all at the Radisson Blu Downtown or at the Marriott City Centre Hotel (you might get lucky with a stadium view!)
  • Watch the game: You’ll either want to be in the stands, in the crowd at Nathan Phillips Square, or the viewing party at Scotiabank Arena.
  • Pre-game bite: Matty Matheson’s Prime Seafood Palace or the NBA Courtside Restaurant.
  • Celebrate after: Head to The Porch or Lavelle for rooftop patios with skyline views.
  • Between games: Before the game, check out The CN Tower EdgeWalk and the José Bautista mural on Spadina (a permanent ode to the 2015 Bat Flip), on your way to Graffiti Alley (remember to wave hi to us, our office is right across the street!)

Attraction To Crowds

Pursuit Of Intensity

Pursuit Of Novelty

Travel Segment: Cosmopolitan Authenticity Seekers

Roughly one-third of Canadians fall into this segment. You’re drawn to authentic, local experiences that help you connect with the city. For you, game day is as much about soaking in the city’s energy as it is about the score.

Game Day Itinerary

  • Where to stay: Bisha Hotel or Hotel X
  • Watch the game: You might skip the stadium crowds for a more immersive experience at the Real Sports Bar & Grill, or the City of Toronto will host free public viewing parties at Nathan Phillips Square.
  • Pre-game bite: Try Pai or a Blue Jays team favorite Jacobs & Co. Steakhouse.
  • Celebrate after: Bar Raval or Reid’s Distillery.
  • Between games: Spend your day visiting the Toronto museums including the AGO, the ROM, the Aga Khan Museum, and the Hockey Hall of Fame or go run the bases at the former Exhibition Stadium.

Travel Segment: Nature Escapists

This segment makes up about 6% of Canadians. You prefer peace, simplicity, and time outdoors over big crowds. For you, a game day getaway is about balance, enjoying the excitement without giving up your tranquility.

Game Day Itinerary

  • Where to stay: Opt for a calm retreat at the Old Mill Toronto Hotel.
  • Watch the game: Stream from a quieter local spot like Amsterdam Brewhouse on the Lake. Close enough to feel the energy but relaxed enough to enjoy the game over craft beer and lake views.
  • Pre-game bite: Pick up a picnic from Forno Cultura and enjoy it at the Toronto Music Garden before the game.
  • Celebrate after: Take an evening walk or bike ride along the Martin Goodman Trail or the new Biidaasige Park.
  • Between games: Recharge in the city’s green spaces, visit High Park‘s fall foliage, explore the Evergreen Brick Works, or visit the legendary Babe Ruth’s historical plaque in Maple Leaf Park. Oh, and don’t forget about Toronto Zoo!
