MDConnect™ is powered by regular nationwide surveys of GPs and specialist physicians, measuring a range of Social Values related to patient management, interactions with the healthcare system, career motivations, and more. Analyzing the data from these surveys, MDConnect™ is able to segment 95% of all physicians in Canada into one of four values-based groups. Each of our physician value segments is based on an in-depth psychographic profile that offers insight into the factors that ultimately drive decision-making.
MDConnect™ was created by Environics Research in partnership with IQVIA, a nationally respected provider of healthcare data, software, research and consulting services. Through this partnership, we have developed a unique segmentation tool that combines our robust values-based segmentation model with physician-level data from IQVIA.
